Denise Thomas is a highly experienced family law paralegal based in our Charlotte office. Born and raised in Charlotte, she proudly represents as a native Charlottean still living in the Queen City. With over 16 years of hands-on experience in family law, Denise brings deep knowledge, professionalism, and compassion to every case she touches.
Throughout her career, Denise has developed a passion for helping individuals and families navigate complex legal matters with empathy and care. She is known for her exceptional client communication, strong work ethic, and unwavering dedication to each case. Denise excels in supporting matters involving child custody, divorce, equitable distribution, alimony, and more—and her clients benefit from both her technical expertise and her warm, approachable nature.
Denise works closely with Partner Attorney Alex French and plays a vital role in preparing cases, managing client communications, and ensuring no detail is overlooked. She is driven by a sincere commitment to making a difference in the lives of those facing difficult transitions.
Outside the office, Denise enjoys life to the fullest. She recently married the love of her life after 17 years together and is a proud mother to her son, Brandon, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Iraq. She is also a loving stepmother to her two beautiful stepdaughters, Sierra and Savanna.
In her free time, Denise can often be found jet skiing on the lake, relaxing in the pool, exploring new destinations in her RV, or spending time with her tight-knit family.
