Christopher Beddow is a Senior Associate Attorney in our Charlotte, North Carolina office, where he represents clients in all areas of family law with skill, strategy, and compassion. An accomplished litigator and seasoned courtroom advocate, Chris handles complex matters including divorce, child custody, child support, alimony, equitable distribution, alienation of affection, and premarital and separation agreements. He is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and South Carolina and is known for his calm presence, direct approach, and ability to deliver results both in and out of the courtroom.
Local Roots and Professional Journey
A Charlotte native, Chris is proud to practice law in the city where he was born and raised. After graduating from Charlotte Latin School, he earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Before entering the legal field, Chris spent time in New York City pursuing a successful career in acting, appearing in professional television, film, and theatre productions. That experience gave him a unique ability to command attention, connect with audiences, and present compelling narratives—skills that now serve him well in front of judges and juries.
Chris went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he was named to the Dean’s List and served as Senior Articles Editor for the ABA Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Journal. He also earned his M.B.A. from the highly regarded Darla Moore School of Business, specializing in Finance.

Personal Life
Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife and two young sons, Carter and Camden. He’s an avid outdoorsman and a lifelong fan of the Carolina Panthers and UNC Tar Heels. Whether he’s hiking, exploring with his kids, or watching a game, Chris values the same things he fights for in court—family, fairness, and a strong foundation.
