Shelby Hudspith is a family law attorney in our Gastonia office. She represents clients in all areas of family law including child custody, child support, alimony, domestic violence, equitable distribution, divorce, mediation, separation agreements, and adoptions.
Hear from Shelby in her own words, why she became a family law attorney:
Throughout my childhood, I had the privilege of sharing my home and family with numerous foster children from diverse backgrounds. My childhood experiences combined with my Family Court internship helped cement my desire to become a family law attorney.
I graduated from Auburn University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. I then earned my Juris Doctor degree from the University of Alabama School of Law, Tuscaloosa, Alabama. During law school, I was on Moot Court Board, served as a volunteer at law offices in both Alabama and Florida, and worked in the Domestic Violence Legal Clinic. After graduating, I worked for a year and a half in criminal law, specializing in Domestic Violence. I am an active member of the New York and North Carolina State Bars.
In my free time, I enjoy training for marathons, all things outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.
I understand how special and unique each family is. Working with your goals in mind, I will listen to your story and serve as your guide to reach the best possible outcome for your case.
